Aww Mama Productions presents The comedy of Maggie Cassella & the music of Girl Rock Band - BETTY, in their 1st ever appearance in Asbury Par + special guest, Christine Martucci.
* Maggie Cassella's comedy is a mix of rants and raves in a format of sit down comedy tearing thru news topics from law, to entertainment, to technology, to religion & finishing up w/ the things that just made her mental. She has performed "Because I Said So™" for 20 summers in P-town, as well as in a whole mess of other places in North America.
* BETTY's acting appearances on The L Word & Ugly Betty have catapulted the members of this beloved cult band to wilder international recognition. Their work has won them 2 Emmys, the BMI Excellence in Career Award, the BMI Film & Television Award for Theme Song for The L Word & numerous humanitarian awards for their activist work. Since 1986, BETTY has performed memorable & exciting live shows in clubs, theaters & arenas all over the world.

The 2nd annual Gay Beach Dodgeball Tournament to Unite & Benefit the LGBT Community. You’ll want to pop your umbrella on Asbury Park’s 4th Avenue Beach early for this "can't miss" event.
* Ironball Games & Events will donate money to the winning team's charity. In 2009, Ironball Games & Events donated $800 to the winning team Madison Marquette & their charity:

It’s SO Easy To Get To Asbury Park
Whether You Come By Car, Train or Bus
This Trip To The Beach Is Just 70-100 minutes from NYC & under 2 hours from Philly.
Getting to Asbury Park is easy by train. It’ll take just under 2 hours door-to-door by train from NYC.
Trains from Penn Station to Asbury Park leave constantly all day and return just as frequently all weekend.

Buy your round trip tix from any of the NJTransit machines or from a live ticket agent in Penn Station.
Don’t wait to buy on the train because it’ll cost $5 more.
You don’t have to specify when you’re returning on Saturday or Sunday because your return ticket is good for any train.
