NYGNO will soon be the hottest consumer fashion and beauty events producer for sophisticated women who want to stay on top of the latest and greatest products, places, musics, styles and trends. NYGNO will produce one of the largest female consumer shows of its kind. NYGNO events provide stylish, smart, trendsetting and on-the-go women with a unique opportunity to shop, sample and socialize directly with a variety of vendors, exhibitors and sponsors from popular local designers to large corporate sponsors and consumer brands. Attendees will also enjoy being among the first to be exposed to emerging designers, music and undiscovered styles.
Whoppo is a docudrama set in New York. It is a story of a young Italian who moves to New York, the city he already knows from movies, books and songs; and amongst citations and tourist landmarks he'll manage to discover much more then he had expected....

Mickalene Thomas currently has a one-person exhibition at the Lehmann Maupin Gallery in New York though May 2nd, and recently had a solo exhibition at The Rhona Hoffman Gallery in Chicago in November 2008. Mickalene is currently included in a 3-person show at Andréhn-Schiptjenko in Stockholm. In 2008, she exhibited at The Brooklyn Museum, The Santa Barbara Contemporary Arts Forum, The Museum of Contemporary Art in Detroit, The Renaissance Society in Chicago and The New Orleans Contemporary Art Center. In December 2008 Mickalene was included in “30 Americans” at the Rubell Family Collection in Miami.

Charles Arthur Russell Jr. (1952 – April 4, 1992) was an American cellist, composer, singer, and disco artist. While he found the most success as a dance music artist, Russell's career bridged New York's downtown, rock, and dance music scenes; his collaborators ranged from Philip Glass to David Byrne to Nicky Siano.
