Martha Wainwright Sings Piaf w/The Mittenstrings Live Tonight at (Le) Poisson Rouge NYC
We thought we had a favorite Wainwright (that'd be brother Rufus). But after seeing sister Martha — at Rufus' Judy Garland extravaganza a while back — our loyalties shifted. The folky chanteuse has an amazing voice, and we're thrilled to hear her sing the songs of another classic singer, Edith Piaf. While we love her own original material, we're getting spine-tingles just thinking what she can do to "Non, je ne Regrette Rien" (take that, Inception). - Katherine M. (FLAVORPILL)
