With the infinitely odd, weirdly scary show of Liz Magic Laser (her real name!), the Derek Eller Gallery continues its march toward quiet greatness. After its excellent winter show of Jessica Jackson Hutchins, whose work leaped out of the last Whitney Biennial, Eller is now giving us Laser’s insane 145-minute video restaging Man Equals Man, the 1926 play by Bertolt Brecht. Laser made this political exercise in various ATM vestibules around town, where intense actors recite lines as customers try to make deposits and avoid the interruptions.
